My relationship with English
It is
common to say that time makes everything better. The truth is that if you
practice every day, you can get better at what you do. So I’m going to write
about my relationship with English.
I have
studies English since I’m a teenager. At school, I learned, numbers, colors, and
a few more things. But when I got into high school, a lot of friends got into
an extra English course with native speakers. I actually went to that course because
a lot of young people used to study there. My parents agreed and it was the
best thing that could have happened to me. I started to speak English.
My time in
that course was long, I got a sufficiency degree. However, when I finished, I stopped
practicing and my English was not as good as at the beginning. At college, students
have to get an English certification, so I had to take another course. I
discovered that I remembered a lot, however, I needed a lot of practice too. So,
I decided to get into CEC English courses. I started from Academic I. It was so
great to speak English with native speakers, to practice with friends. I
decided to continue with that process. Sometimes, I have to take a break from English
classes due to my university activities, but I always come back. I know that practicing
is the best way to improve.
Now I recall
my the first time I spoke in public, and I can only be thankful to all my teachers
cause all of them have helped me to improve a lot. I discovered a lot of errors
in grammatic and a bunch of them in pronunciation. I know that still I have to
improve a lot, but the road I have walked is amazing. I have improved until now
and I will not stop until I am able to speak like a native.
